Ireland's Top 10 tourist attractions - as chosen by you!

Ireland feeds the soul and energises the senses. From around the world, people come here to be immersed in nature and in the warmth of our people. Our visitors discover a culture that is brought to life in music, dance and stories. From the youthful energy and vibe of our cities to the tranquillity and timelessness of our natural environment, Ireland offers an experience like no other.

Winner: The Cliffs of Moher

“Just stunning,” was one of your descriptions of the iconic Cliffs of Moher, voted Ireland’s Top Tourist Attraction by Independent readers for 2017.

The Cliffs are perhaps an obvious winner. They are recognisable at home and abroad, and a firm fixture of tour bus circuits (heck, they even appear in Harry Potter and The Princess Bride). But that doesn’t make them any less deserving.
